Option 1: If your organization has Exchange Server then as an administrator you can execute a massive installation of Pobuca Connect Outlook app to all users' native Outlook.

Guidelines: The administrator should login on exchange ecp admin center site > click on the ‘Organization’ tab > select ‘apps’ > click on the + button to add the Pobuca Connect Outlook add in from URL. The URL is: http://pobucaofficeaddin.azurewebsites.net/manifest.xml

Option 2: The user can install the add in himself

Guidelines: In order to install the app, the user must have a Microsoft work/school (Office 365) account or a Microsoft personal account. First of all, the user must add his Microsoft work/school or personal account on his native Outlook (if not already done). Visit this website for more information: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Add-an-email-account-to-Outlook-6e27792a-9267-4aa4-8bb6-c84ef146101b

After having his Microsoft account added on the native Outlook, the user must install the Pobuca Connect Outlook app on the web app for his Microsoft account. Once the add-in gets installed on the web app, it will automatically appear in the native Outlook as well (after restarting the native Outlook). Specifically, for the installation of the add in on the web app:

  • If the user wants to install it on his Office 365 Outlook, he should do the following: Login to Outlook Office 365 account > Select the gear button that appears at the top right side of the screen > Select the “Manage add-ins” option > in ‘Category’ choose ‘ALL’ > In search field, type ‘Pobuca’ > find ‘Pobuca for Outlook’ and activate it.

  • If the user wants to install it on his Outlook Web App using his Microsoft personal account, he should do the following: Login to Outlook Web app account > Select the gear button that appears at the top right side of the screen > Select “Manage apps/add-ins”option > in ‘Category’ choose ‘ALL’ > In search field type ‘Pobuca’> find ‘Pobuca for Outlook’and activate it.

Once the add-in gets installed on the web app, it will automatically appear in the native Outlook on the corresponding email account as well. A restart of the native Outlook is required.
